Roselle

Its all start when my doctor said that i need to add up another 0.5 L
wow, from 2.5 L now its 3.0L
I start to feel the bitterness after the first 1.0 L of plain water
Then i decided, i need to add up some flavour...
I start up with Ribena + Strawbery....

Then, My friend told me about this Roselle...
She said that i can make my own....
Without any added flovour, or colouring or presevative....
No MSG (hehehe)

So then....
This is my first try...
It turn out to be good...
A little bit sour (which i hate, but have too)
but....its nice....just nice....


This is the Roselle that we 'harvest'....
(cant shoot the photo since it was raining by the time)


After cleaning the whole thing....
Peel of the petals....
and just put away the seed....
(unless u want to replant...replant? i dont know....may be its used branches to reproduces...)


Pour some water into your pot...
a cup should be just nice measurement...
plain water...


Add up some sugar...
U can use any sugar...
but i prefer this crystal sugar....
Half or 1/3 of the amount of water


As they start to boil.... Add up the fresh petals...


Its going to boil just that instant... U dont have to wait for long...


And... at that instant too...
U can see the red colour from the petals...
Nice nature colouring...


The stim going to come out now... (watch out for your lens...hehehe)

Reduce the size of fire...
but dont swicth off...
since we still have some petals here..


Keep the fire for a while...
Until all the petals are well cook....


Just after a few minutes... This is the result...


No more petals... Yeah...Its ready....


You can eat the petals....
Not to worry about it...
If u dont like to have them in your drink...
just dismiss them away....
